Inside the Cottage

Living Room

Television with Sky satellite has VCR with front connections that will also accommodate American playback, music center, open fireplace (we provide the first bucket of coal, which you can get easily with a local call), large oversized sofa with 2 oversized matching chairs.Photo of Reception room.

Kitchen for Self Catered Meals

Our Kitchen is fully fitted for all your self-catering meals. There is also an outdoor gas barbeque grill. Aberlour has a Co-op Supermarket where you will be able to find all your meal and Tea-time needs. There is also David Brown the Butcher on the High Street. You might even want to fill the provided picnic basket with sandwiches and goodies before you take off to explore the countryside. A thermos for hot tea or coffee is also provided. American fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher, all the dishes, cutlery, cookware and utensils for a gourmet meal if you like to provide your own meals.

Bedrooms

There are 3 Bedrooms - (Sleeps 5 in total) Upstairs you will find 1 Single room, 1 Twin room & 1 Double room on the main floor. (Cot and/or high chair are available on request).

Bathroom

The bathroom is large with shower over bath. All your bed linens, duvets, pillows, bath towels, complimentary soap, shampoo, and body lotion are provided.

Formal Dining Room 

The table seats 6, included are tablecloth and napkins. You'll find everything you need to self-cater your meals in elegance and style.

Forgotten Something?

You will be able to find almost everything you need in the village within walking distance of the house.

Catered Meals and Liquor

If cooking on your holiday is just not your cup of tea, you will find a menu of gourmet meals and drinks (including excellent liquors) from the nearby Dowans Hotel & Restaurant offering fine dining and bar meals. We have even arranged for them to deliver your order to Tigh-na-Bruaich, if you like*. 

Take the provided picnic basket to the village and have it filled with lunch or light snacks to take on your exploration of the Scottish Highlands area.

Eating Out

There are also several places in the village for you to have your meals out. To name a few that are within minutes walking distance, there's a Fish & Chips Shop on the High Street, The Dowans (which offers fine dining with a full service Bar and is only a 5 minute walk from Tigh-na-Bruaich), The Abelour Hotel. Explore this beautiful and friendly Scottish village.
